MONTHLIV NOTE
Gosoo Plus CEO Park Young-eun Receives Gyeonggi Provincial Council Chairperson’s Commendation
Recognition of the integrated business model connecting accommodation brand “MONTHLIV” and stay-search transaction platform “Doklip Life”
Honored for contributing to the expansion of stay infrastructure for single-person households and young people, as well as to the revitalization of local economies
Park Young-eun, CEO of Gosoo Plus, received the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Chairperson’s Commendation from Gyeonggi Provincial Councilor Yoon Tae-gil in recognition of her contribution to community development.
Gosoo Plus Co., Ltd. announced on May 8 that CEO Park Young-eun received the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Chairperson’s Commendation, No. 26-4224, on April 30. The commendation was presented in the name of Kim Jung-yong, Chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council.
The commendation was awarded in recognition of Park’s contribution to community development through a proptech-based space operation business, as well as her efforts to expand housing and accommodation infrastructure for single-person households, young people, and short-term residents.
Founded in 2022, Gosoo Plus is a proptech company that connects stay demand with accommodation supply. Offline, the company plans and operates urban residential and accommodation spaces through its accommodation brand “MONTHLIV.” Online, it operates “Doklip Life,” a stay-search and transaction platform where users can check accommodation information and proceed with contracts and payments.
A business structure that supplies spaces through “MONTHLIV” and connects users through “Doklip Life”
Gosoo Plus’ business model is characterized by the organic connection between its accommodation supply brand “MONTHLIV” and its stay-search transaction platform “Doklip Life.”
“MONTHLIV” is an accommodation brand that manages the entire process from location selection and space planning to interior design, furniture and appliances, living infrastructure, and operations management. Based on standardized operating systems and quality standards, MONTHLIV supplies spaces suitable for monthly stays and aims to provide users with a stable residential and accommodation experience.
“Doklip Life” is a stay-search and transaction platform that enables users to check and compare accommodation information, prices, and conditions online. By digitizing the traditionally offline process of searching for monthly housing and accommodation, the platform helps reduce users’ time and effort while supporting more convenient stay decisions.
Through this structure, Gosoo Plus provides stable space operation solutions for suppliers and a convenient, reliable stay-search experience for users.
Contributing to the resolution of housing blind spots for single-person households and young people
As the rise of single-person households and the housing burden faced by young people and early-career workers have emerged as social issues, Gosoo Plus has been providing more flexible and accessible housing and accommodation options through “MONTHLIV” and “Doklip Life.”
In particular, “Doklip Life” helps users access essential information at a glance in the monthly housing and accommodation market, where information asymmetry has long been a challenge. By connecting the contract and payment process online, the platform contributes to lowering barriers to securing housing.
A representative of Gosoo Plus said, “Doklip Life aims to serve not merely as an accommodation information channel, but as a digital infrastructure that helps anyone begin an independent life more easily and safely. We will continue to grow MONTHLIV and Doklip Life together to provide practical value to both stay seekers and space suppliers.”
Kim Jung-yong, Chairperson of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, commented, “Gosoo Plus is a rare integrated company that has internalized both accommodation supply capabilities through MONTHLIV and a digital transaction platform through Doklip Life. It is a meaningful model of practical ESG management in that it achieves both business performance and social value creation.”
CEO Park Young-eun: “Independent living is the starting point of self-reliance”
Park Young-eun, CEO of Gosoo Plus, said, “This commendation is the result of the trust and support of our users, employees, partner companies, and local community members. The role of Gosoo Plus is to help anyone begin their independent life easily and safely.”
She added, “Moving forward, we will continue to become a company that realizes both social value and business growth through the stable supply of accommodation spaces via MONTHLIV and the enhancement of the user experience on the Doklip Life platform.”
Meanwhile, Park also shares insights on space operation, entrepreneurship, and the housing and accommodation industry through her YouTube channel “Bang Sonyeo.”
Growing as a proptech company together with Gyeonggi-do and Hanam City
Following this award, Gosoo Plus plans to continue expanding its community contribution activities based in Gyeonggi-do and Hanam City. The company aims to gradually expand the operating areas of MONTHLIV and enhance the functions of the Doklip Life platform, thereby improving the utilization of idle spaces in local communities and expanding stay infrastructure for young people, single-person households, and short-term residents.
In addition, Gosoo Plus plans to contribute to the revitalization of local economies by creating regional jobs through space operation, connecting with local commercial districts, and expanding cooperative partnerships.
